Nick Stephens, MSW, LICSW
Nick is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with his Master’s degree in Social Work. His experience includes over 10 years of working with children, teens, adults and families in a variety of mental health and educational settings. He believes that connecting with each another in a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental relationship is one of the most important factors in therapy.
Nick works to identify obstacles to his client’s success, and then helps them remove those obstacles so they can build on their areas of strength. Nick will focus on helping clients work through problems that may include relationship difficulties, job stress, grief, anger, fear, worry, sadness, and addiction. He will utilized evidence-based treatments (treatments in which research has provided evidence of statistically significant effectiveness) to help with problems such as anxiety, depression and trauma. Nick employs a holistic and integrative approach as he works collaboratively with individuals, couples and families. Personal and professional experience has led Nick to the belief that a healthy sense of meaning and a good roadmap can enable anyone to overcome even the most difficult issues of life.
