Dr. Hoy earned his PhD in education with a specialization in training and performance improvement from Capella University. He holds a master’s degree in counseling and psychology from St. Mary’s University and a bachelor’s degree in speech and communication from the University of Minnesota. David believes strongly in holistic approaches to over-all health and well-being and strives to create a mindfulness culture at work. To this end he hires yoga instructors who provide classes three times a week for employees.</p>

<p>Matthew specializes in working with adults, teenagers, and couples and is experienced in working with issues such as relationship distress, anxiety, life transition, grief and loss, depression, emotional and behavior concerns, ADHD, and trauma. He is trained in psychodynamic and attachment theory which he combines with the evidenced based support of cognitive behavioral therapy. Matthew was honorably discharged from the Minnesota Army National Guard, and his love for his fellow service members remains. In his spare time, he enjoys playing chess, attending social events, exercising, and spending time with loved ones.</p>
