Anna Hestad, Intern

Anna is one of our interns, currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of St Thomas. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in political science from Macalester College in 2019.

Anna takes a collaborative approach to counseling, joining clients on their journey to empower themselves and make impactful changes in their lives. She uses a client-centered, collaborative, and humanistic approach to therapy, and places great emphasis on the importance of relationship-building with her clients. In her work with clients Anna walks alongside folks as they make the journey from where they are to where they want to be, providing encouragement, insight, support, and a sense of humor along the way.”
