Nichey Yang, Intern

Nichey is currently an intern pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at National One University. He is family-centered and enjoys building positive and meaningful connections with people. He understands that everyone’s life experiences are unique, and feels honored to support individuals, families, couples, and relationships throughout their personal journeys. In this therapeutic partnership, he believes that you are the expert of your own story, and together you can navigate life challenges, transitions, and growth opportunities.

His therapeutic approach draws from psychoanalytic family therapy and solution-focused therapy. He works with children, teens, adults, and families, helping clients explore unconscious patterns, family dynamics, relational challenges, and emotional experiences while also building practical, strengths-based solutions for meaningful change and growth. He also offers couples therapy for partners seeking to improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, and grow together through life’s transitions in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.
We are human “beings,” not human “doings,” and everyone faces struggles in different areas of life. No concern is too small or unimportant. Together, you will work toward improving emotional well-being, strengthen resilience, foster healthier relationships, and encourage meaningful personal growth.
