Darcy Steinhaus, MSW, LICSW
Darcy holds of Master’s of Social Work degree with a focus on Children and Families from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She works with young children, adolescents, teens, and families facing a variety of different challenges, including relational issues, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life adjustments, and self-esteem. Darcy prioritizes collaborating with clients to create the therapeutic relationship necessary for healing, for changes, and for creating a safe space for clients to be their true selves. Darcy utilizes a variety of approaches to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, including; client-centered, child-focused, person-in-environment, strengths-based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness strategies, and narrative therapy, and experiential play therapy (EPT).
