Jane Kommer, MA, LMFT

Jane is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She works with individuals, children, adults, and families, and is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can build confidence and feel understood. Using a strengths-based approach, Jane helps clients recognize their resilience and develop skills that extend beyond the therapy room.
Jane has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, anger, self-harm, relationship challenges, behavioral concerns, and parenting difficulties. She integrates mindfulness practices into her work with individuals and families to promote self-awareness and emotional regulation.
In addition, Jane utilizes Brainspotting, a focused and body-based therapeutic approach that helps clients process and release trauma, emotional pain, and deeply held patterns. When working with children, she incorporates both directive and non-directive play therapy techniques, allowing them to express themselves and communicate through play in ways that feel natural and empowering.
