Leona is extremely passionate about mental health because of her own journey with anxiety and depression. Her personal story of growth and empowerment is a motivator to show others that they can do the same. Her approach involves promoting mindfulness, emphasizing strengths, and fostering a healthy support system among other things. Her goal is to empower, validate, and encourage clients to promote their self-efficacy. She believes every client has the power to take control of their lives and create the best version of themselves. When it comes to her therapeutic style, she loves to incorporate humor and sarcasm because sometimes laughter is the best medicine! Leona looks forward to working with every client she gets and appreciates the opportunity to help them.
