Rachel Amerman, MSW, LGSW
Rachel is a licensed general social worker and is continuing to work towards obtaining her clinical licensure. She holds a Masters of Social Work, with a specialization in working with immigrants and refugees, from the University of St. Thomas. Rachel has a passion for working with adolescents facing a variety of challenges such as: trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, homelessness, and the complex stressors felt by families of immigrant and refugee backgrounds. She believes that while young adults are often surrounded by uncertainty, they have the power to decide where their life goes. Therefore she sees therapy as a collaboration, with the client taking the lead and coming as their true selves.
