Ruth Plante, MA, LPCC
Ruth works with adults 18+ and couples who may struggle with anxious or depressed thinking, trauma related to relationships or family, or other life stressors that create disconnection in mind and body. During the initial sessions, we will explore what is making you feel stuck and create a plan to move you forward. Ruth has been practicing therapy for 10+ years and is trained in a wide variety of therapeutic approaches including: Brainspotting, EMDR and IFS as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT and DBT. The relational approach Ruth uses with couples are based on Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Ruth strives to create a safe, calm and compassionate space for healing.
