Elisha Engelen, MA, LMFT

Elisha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In the last 8 years she has worked with clients who are seeking to make changes and take charge of their lives. Elisha has extensive experience working with people who have experienced difficulties; such as depression, post-partum, and anxiety. She has found that mood changes that go unrecognized or are not addressed, then bring challenges into the relationships individuals have. Elisha’s passion is to help families and couples find ways to support one another while making changes. She works with individuals to process through grief and loss that has occurred from the loss of a loved one or a recent life transition.

Greg Walsh, MA, LICSW

Greg is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He provides mental health counseling for children, adolescents and adults. For more than 19 years, Greg has practiced in a variety of settings with diverse populations including: children and teens with challenging emotional and physically aggressive behaviors; counseling for physically disabled adults, as well as grief and loss issues for all ages. Greg specializes in: E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) – which is particularly effective for clients who have experienced traumatic life events such as divorce, job loss or abuse. Greg’s clinical interests and competencies include: conflict resolution, depression, anxiety and related diagnoses, communication enhancement, parenting skills, and chemical use/abuse issues.

Kay Nordgren, MSED, LPCC

Kay has her Masters in Education and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Kay has over 16 years of experience working with adults, kids, teenagers, and parents. Kay prides herself on being genuine, compassionate, and empathetic. Her specialties include: depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, anger, perfectionism, recovering from abusive relationships, shame, guilt, codependent issues, grief and break up issues, parenting issues, and dealing with/getting rid of toxic people. She teaches cognitive behavioral therapy skills, mindfulness skills, assertiveness/boundaries, and relaxation skills. Kay believes in working from the inside out so you can heal, have more peace, calm, contentment in your life.

Kristin Johnson, MA, LMFT

Sometimes we need extra support in this daily thing we call life. Reaching out for help shows courage because you are in charge of the changes you want to make. I will simply stand by you and meet you where you are at. I will help motivate and coach you and help remind you of the tools you have inside of you to make these changes. Mary Thomson, MA, LMFT

Mary is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individuals, families, and couples with the goals of helping clients cope with life’s challenges, and improving their relationships. Mary works with clients in a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative manner drawing on her clients’ innate strengths. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief and loss, trauma, chronic pain and illness, ADHD, and relational issues. Areas of interest include: parenting challenges, self- esteem, life transitions, relationship and family-of-origin issues.

Ben Forsberg, MA, LMFT

Ben is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts Degree from Bethel Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He works with children, adolescents, individual adults, couples, and families with an overall goal of increasing ability to handle the stresses placed on them by themselves, others and the world in which we live. He has worked extensively with young males whose challenges include: excessive anger, anxiety, depression, addiction, and victimization, and bullying. He is experienced in working with high stress environments such as, parental conflict and divorce, physical or emotional trauma, grief and loss. Ben believes that each person is a unique combination of biology and experience, which gives rise to their unique challenges, vulnerabilities, strengths, and hopes. He also believes that everyone has the insight, ability, and potential to thrive in our human experience and sustain a meaningful life. In a supportive atmosphere of grace, he aims to empower others, build their confidence, affirm their strengths, and reach their full potential.

Christina McGraw MA LMFT

Christina McGraw, MA, LMFT

Chris works collaboratively and respectfully with clients to help them notice and build upon their competencies and strengths. She is non-judgmental and compassionate in helping client’s and their loved ones understand how maladaptive coping strategies have developed and offers hope that more beneficial coping strategies can be created. Chris offers a safe space to discuss current struggles, as well as feasible steps to instigate desired change.

Chris has been trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction; utilizing present moment awareness to help clients slow down, cope adaptively, and neurologically alter how the body and mind each interpret and manage stress. She is AIR Network Model certified; The Adaptive Internal Relational Network Model helps support clients who have experienced complex developmental traumas, as well as those who have dissociative abilities to utilize their wisest and most resourced self to respond more adaptively when they feel triggered. Chris is an EMDR certified therapist. She utilizes EMDR to help client’s experience calm moments, strengthen inner resources, and relieve distress of past traumas. She is a member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association).
